Format SQL querys easily and conveniently without online tools. DevUtils.app allows you to quickly format SQL queries right in your macOS without any internet connection.
It supports popular query languages: MySQL, MariaDB, PosgreSQL, PL/SQL.
Quickly Format SQL Query
You can format SQL string from anywhere in your macOS (terminal, in email, web browser,...). Activate the app by:
- Press ⌃⌥⌘Space(Or your own customized hotkey, up to you)
- Click to icon in the status bar
Input
Enter your SQL query in the input textbox. If you already have the string in your clipboard, just click the "Clipboard" button, and the tool will use the content in your clipboard as input.
Output
The preview content will be displayed in the right view. You can change the dropdown menu to switch between query languages:
- SQL
- MySQL
- MariaDB
- PosgreSQL
- PL/SQL
By default, the keywords are uppercased. You can change this behavior by selecting the "Original" option in the dropdown menu.
